About Us

In 2023, Buy a Tree, Change a Life raised $2,455,189

through the sale of 15,865 Christmas trees, with 69

sites participating across 21 states. Our mission is

simple: 100% of the funds raised from tree sales go

directly to local and global missions. This initiative

not only spreads holiday joy through live tree sales but

also changes lives both in our community and

around the world.

I Care Family Services

Our local mission partner, I Care Family Services, is a licensed

child-placing agency serving foster children and families in Georgia.

They provide: Foster care and respite care for children in need.

Mental health counseling and parenting classes. Meal support

and a foster care closet for essential items. A volunteer care

community supporting foster and biological families

There are over 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S., with

11,000 in Georgia alone. I Care Family Services aims to provide

safe, loving homes where no child has to spend the night in a

hotel or government office because of a lack of family placement.



Serving Orphans Worldwide

Our global mission partner, Serving Orphans Worldwide (SOW),

ensures that 100% of every donation goes directly to orphan

care, with no administrative costs taken from the funds raised.

The proceeds from Buy a Tree, Change a Life support children

in Romania, Kenya, and Ukraine, providing food, education,

and spiritual care. In Ukraine, funds help children impacted by

war, while in Kenya and Romania, they create stable environments

for vulnerable children. Through these efforts, children are

not only given basic necessities but also the opportunity to

heal, grow, and build a better future. SOW nurtures the body,

mind, and spirit of every child, empowering them to thrive.
