Christians who are in places of responsibility in the church are required to be examples in
faith, conduct, and business affairs. We need to maintain a high standard and represent Christ to those we come in contact with.
1. Must be in agreement with the doctrine of the Church of God.
2. Be a member of Buford Church of God or be in the membership process.
3. Be able to make a minimum six-month commitment.
4. Complete a Volunteer Application(This is the Application) & Background Check (It will be sent by email)
5. Be loyal to the pastor and the leaders of Buford Church of God.
6. Be faithful to your assigned position.
7. Live a separated Christian life.
8. Attend all workers' meetings and workshops
(if required)
9. Be faithful to attend church services
(if not Volunteering).
10. Give at least three (3) day's notice if you know you will be absent.
11. Be at your designated post thirty (30) minutes before starting time.
12. Make sure you live a life that glorifies God.
13. Give at least thirty (30) days notice when resigning your position.
14. Dress Code -Workers should wear appropriate, comfortable clothes in the classroom. Dress
should be modest and in good taste. Workers should be clean and neat in appearance.
15. Please pray for the children that you will be ministering to.
16. Never leave a child unattended.
17. Be very friendly and patient as you greet the children & their parents. Introduce yourself and make it a goal to learn the names of the children and their parents.
18. Room maintenance - please pick up papers and straighten chairs and tables after each service.
19. Develop a relationship with the children and serve as a good role model.
20. We want you to know that God will bless you for being willing to teach God's Little ones.
